Reuse & Repurpose: Hand Sewing Family Workshop (Ages 11+)

This two session workshop is "sew" much fun! Get the family together and learn the basics of hand sewing and how to reuse and repurpose fabrics so you can go home and continue to create together. You will explore using fabric scraps to create small stuffed toys and textile greeting cards as well as using an old sweater to make custom and unique toque and headband. Sewist and Artist Aradhana will guide you through this fun one session workshop as she teaches you how to thread a needle, handstitches, how to match thread colours, and how to have fun with creating new items from old materials. Note: Participants 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Each participant must register individually. NOTE: Children 16 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. All attending members of the family, couple or group must register individually. The price is per person. SUPPLIES All supplies included, but you are welcome to bring in your own fabric scraps or old sweaters if you have a colour or pattern/design you love!
