Make your own Holiday Cards - Gelli Plate Monotype Family Workshop (6+)

Artist Andrew Thorne will show you how to make cards using gelli monotype plates with vibrant and colourful ink as a surface to draw on to, both reductively and additively, as you build up interesting images and marks. Learn how to layer, use transparency and opacity, and create finished Holiday cards full of textures and designs, perfect to give to family & friends. Hand pull prints as you learn how to print without a press using simple and effective techniques that can easily be replicated anywhere. This one session workshop is the perfect way to try out printmaking and print successfully with your family. This is a great workshop to take with loved ones, friends, or family members* just in time for all of the upcoming holidays! Please note this is a Family class, children 16 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. All attending members of the family, couple or group must register individually.
