Lyrical (Ages 7 - 10)

This beginner-friendly class introduces young dancers to the expressive style of lyrical dance, blending elements of ballet and jazz with added storytelling through creative movement. Students will learn choreographed routines and be encouraged to explore how emotion can be expressed in dance, not only through movement but also through facial expressions and musical connections. At the end of the session, students will be able to deliver a final performance to showcase their newfound storytelling skills! Please bring: bare feet, socks, or jazz shoes, wear any clothes you can dance in, & water.
