Learn to Knit - Scarf & Toque (Ages 15+)

Discover the simple art form of knitting in this five week class! Learn the basic stitches of knit and purl, casting on, picking up stitches and casting off. Create a pot holder, then a cowl/ infinity scarf and toque to keep you warm on chilly evenings! For more experienced knitters, your instructor can help you start your first sweater, navigate colourwork, and other intermediate techniques. EXPERIENCE Beginner friendly, but more experienced knitters are also welcome! SUPPLIES Supplies are not included, students will be required to bring their own yarn, needles and other notions. A supply list will be sent out at time of course confirmation. Depending on the number of projects, yarn quality/type, and materials chosen the cost could be $50-$125.
