Learn to Knit - Holiday Stockings (Ages 13+)

Gain a familiarity with the basics of knitting, including casts-ons, knit and purl, and working in the round to make a festive holiday stocking. Over the three weeks with Artist Riisa Gundesen you will make you rown handmade stocking, perfect for you to use or give as a gift! More experienced knitters can try their hand at colourwork techniques such as intarsia or stranded colourwork EXPERIENCE Beginner friendly, but more experienced knitters are also welcome! SUPPLIES Supplies are not included, students will be required to bring their own yarn, needles and other notions. A supply list will be sent out at time of course confirmation. Supply approx costs are $30, costs for yarn will vary depending on quality of yarn, and quantity required for choice of project
