Learn to Knit - Hats and Mittens for Beginners and Intermediates (Ages 13+)

Stay warm this winter with handmade accessories during this five week class with Artist, Riisa Gundesen! Beginners will learn the basics of knits, purls, cast-ons and bind offs, starting with warm and stylish toques - great for holiday gifts! For those with more experience, try your hand at mittens, and learn stretchy cast ons, advanced pattern-reading, or maybe some colourwork techniques. EXPERIENCE Beginner friendly, but more experienced knitters are also welcome! SUPPLIES Supplies are not included, students will be required to bring their own yarn, needles and other notions.
