Contemporary & Floorwork (Ages 10+)

Allow your child to push the boundaries of space and explore new ways to interact with the physical world. This beginner-intermediate dynamic class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of contemporary and floorwork technique, with a focus on fluidity, grounding, and safe transitions to and from the floor. Dancers will explore and expand on their movement quality, musicality, balance, coordination, and confidence through guided exercises and choreography. At the end of the session, students will be able to deliver a final performance to demonstrate their new skills! Please bring: socks, pants (not shorts) you can dance in, layers are encouraged, & water.
