Beginner Piano Chording for Teens (Ages 12-17)

Enroll in this one-hour teen class to start learning how chording works and how to play through songs using basic chords on the piano. Over the eight week class, students will learn chords, how they work together, and create a binder of songs, mostly built on pop culture - both past and present. A singing voice isn't a requirement, but we'll certainly be using that too. If you have a piano background or have taken City of Edmonton music classes, you'll catch on quicker, but it's not a requirement.
