Come learn how to do Metis beading with Indigenous beader, Ayla Wikjord! Throughout the years, Ayla has been reconnecting with her Métis culture & learning the techniques of the Flower Beadwork People. She has found immense joy in perfecting her beading, as well as teaching others this skill and the beautiful history behind it. Each person will create a beautiful beaded prairie rose. All supplies provided. Date: September 28 Time: 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Ticket price: $40 Tickets must be purchased in advance. This event may not be suitable for children under 12 as it requires patience and fine motor skills.
