ACT Pottery For Teens (Ages 12-17)

Learn the very basic steps and skills to become a potter during this eight week class which focuses on wheel throwing as well as important handbuilding techniques. Ceramic Artist Molly Lim will get you working with clay right away by diving into handbuilding projects and exploring fundamental techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch. After learning the basics of working with clay you will then spend time on the pottery wheel as you get an introduction to throwing, centring, pulling walls, learning all about trimming, and glazing. All supplies included, just bring your creativity!
