Creative dance & voice - kids (9 - 12 years)

In this bi-weekly class, kids will grow their imagination, self-expression and teamwork, while connecting to Calgary’s vibrant arts scene. All participants will attend a Calgary Opera performance or open house for further inspiration. Kids will: Explore movement, voice and storytelling in a supportive environment. Create original choreography inspired by music from a children’s opera, while exploring storytelling through movement, voice and visual art. Collaborate with guest artists, explore costume design and creative journaling Prerequisite: None Please bring: Comfortable clothing for movement and a water bottle Forms/waivers: None
