Canoeing: beginner - parent + kids/teen (6 - 17 years + adult)

In this single class, you and your kid will work together to learn basic canoeing skills and strokes. You will take part in activities like: how to properly fit and wear a lifejacket holding the paddle and steering J-stroke, forward and backward strokes prying Prerequisite: Children must be accompanied by an adult Please bring: Weather appropriate clothing, water bottle, snacks, extra layers and socks, backpack, apply sunscreen and insect repellant before arrival Forms/waivers: Assumption of risk and informed consent
