Ballet - teens (13 - 17 years)

Teens will learn to express themselves artistically and discover the relationship between dance and music through a variety of beginner ballet movements. Each week, they will be led through a classical ballet class that will develop strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination. Classes will focus on: barre work center work (done without the assistance of a barre) combination steps like travelling enchainment slow and quick movements (adagio and allegro) Prerequisite: None Please bring: Clothing you can move in, ballet shoes or bare feet Forms/waivers: None
